Ryan K. Schmidt, M.B.A
Vice President
Ryan has been advising senior executives in the California high tech and biotech sectors since 2000. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and
International Relations from Stanford University and a Masters of Business
Administration (MBA) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Prior to founding Schmidt Financial Group's California office, Ryan worked with
Silicon Valley entrepreneurs as a venture capitalist at Advent International –
one of the world’s largest global private equity firms. After years of observing
technology startups succeed and fail, Ryan realized his true passion was for
the success of people in these organizations. What's more, this success often
bore only a fleeting relation to the companies in which they worked.
Ryan joined Schmidt Financial Group in order to address this disconnect between
corporate and personal success, and to help professionals become and remain
personally and financially successful.

Ryan is also active in the Bay Area community, volunteering at the Lucille Packard Children's
Hospital and coaching Little League baseball in Palo Alto since 1997.
